We just started watching Season 2 on DVD. If you liked Rome on HBO, you'll like this.
The tag line from the first season sums it up:
"You think you know a story but you only know how it ends."
Ineresting historically, how accurate, who cares, a new character comes in and you realize it's Thomas Tallis, or St. Thomas Moore, Luther, some brutal violence and most importantly much nubile bodice ripping full frontal nudity. It's good to be King.

Great show and great acting and season 2 was even better than season 1. I am looking forward to season 3.

Glad to hear season two is on DVD. Like Rome it is pure schlock, but I like it. I think they did a great job in season one with Cardinal Wolsey, great acting there. The sets and costume design was first rate as well.
