Your Highness

Post by Shafpocalypse Now »

Holy fuck. I still don't know what to think about this movie, only that you should probably wait until it's out on DVD or download it as a torrent.

The writers and director sure does love dick jokes.

Some T&A, some mild perversion. A jester almost gets assraped by a horny minotaur.

Danny McBride plays the same character he always plays. His best work remains The Foot-Fist Way.

I saw it last night. While I laughed louder and longer than most, I agree that it's movie best viewed as a vid. There were some good homage scenes to Lord of the Rings, Frankenstein, the original Clash of the Titans, and Thunderdome.

It's good to see an R rated comedy, and I did learn a new term that has already become part of my vocabulary, "the fuckening".

My wife and I laugh at Land of the Lost with Will Ferrell whenever it shows up on HBO, and it got a 26% on rotten tomatoes (and one star on the cable TV rating), which is what Your Highness also is getting. I'm betting I am going to like it when it makes it to cable.
Don’t believe everything you think.

This, although many would probably argue for the East Bound and Down series. Foot Fist Way is freaking hilarious.
