I'm usually against ad hominem arguments, but I don't picture someone who has self-respect follow this man as "health" or "fitness" model.

Re: Pavhole on Rogan
Also, it is just hackneyed at this point to spit out "Pec Deck" with contempt like he did on Rogan and keep going on the anti-machines crusade. People can have both, and both is sometimes better. I had a friend in highschool who had a kind of "Nautilus multigym" with 4 or 6 exer...

Re: smart computer guys, question
VPN is to protect you from someone intercepting the data between your phone and the wi-fi network (or something like that). How good is end-to-end encryption if someone has intercepted your password when your were logging in? HTTPS is secure over public hotspots. Only a public key and encrypted mes...

Re: smart computer guys, question
I'll be doing a lot of traveling out of country in the next year. Do I need a VPN? My central concern is that I have my bank and brokerage on the phone. Will a good VPN provide a level of safety? If so, what's a good one. I'm looking at NordVPN and ExpressVPN. If you want to be REALLLLY safe, make ...

another peculiar fact: there is not a single interview with Pavel in Russia, only translations from Western sources, even though his books have been translated to Russian and his name is very well known in the fitness circles over there. This. Even on the Russian internet, nobody knows a thing abou...

He is an incredibly good popularizer. Here are game-changing ideas that I learned from Pavel that I would have heard about from no one else: neurological training using frequency and volume low fatigue pulls as an alternative to squats and kettlebells of course--this is obviously And this is where ...

Saw it at the cine park. For the price paid, was OK. Lack of continuity between the first part and the second part of the movie.
Other movie seen at the time was the new Spiderman. That movie was better.

Re: 531 Forever - upcoming book by Jim Wendler
Got my copy yesterday. Book itself was beat to shit, but I'm 90% certain that is my Mailman's fault. Book begins with some updated info about warmups, structuring cycles, there is a conditioning and recovery section as well. As always, Wendler's info is very good. The majority of the book is just a...

Re: Antifa protests
They were pretty violent against the attempted speech of Milo at Berkley and Heather MacDonald at Claremont where a professor trying to keep her safe was injured. I wonder who they put in the "fa" category of antifa. Seems like a much wider net than the KKK & neo-Nazis. Ann Coulter ha...

Re: Antifa protests
The posters say that the local snowflakes are planning a protest on Sunday in my home town. My concern is this: Which grip do I use on my war mace to properly demolish skulls? Around here, most antifa protests are organized when neo-nazis are demonstrating, as a kind of "counter-protest"....

Re: 531 Forever - upcoming book by Jim Wendler
Serious question, but how is another 5/3/1 book necessary? Speaking for me, I don't have his other books. Mainly interested in buying his latest book for planning weight training for my kids when they grow up and do sports. For myself, I used some of his T-Nation articles. Now I'm on Tactical Barbe...

531 Forever - upcoming book by Jim Wendler
It's gonna be out in 2-3 weeks I think. I'm probably gonna buy it. Will try to post a review. Never bought his other books, but followed 531 from T-nation articles. Always had good results. These days, not doing any sport, so going to the gym and running are the only way I exercise. (Started rowing,...

Anyone has a good dip/chins belt to recommend?
Title says it all... I'm about 6' tall, 185 pounds, if that helps.
I'll be bringing the belt at the gym, and won't share it with the smelly people over there, of course.

Not bad for a little Monday afternoon escapist fare. Hollywood is working hard to incorporate grappling/jj into the gun-fu and knife-fu mix. "17. Reeves did four months of hardcore training, judo, jujitsu, guns and physical fitness. “He loves it and he hates it,” says Leitch. The training incl...

Re: Gabapentin and sciatica?
gabapentin has shown efficacy in chronic pain. short half-life (about 2-5 hours) so it's normal to take more than once a day, however i can't speak for the dose. I agree your wife should try movement to help with what is causing the pain.

Shaf, have you tried LibreOffice or OpenOffice?
Compatibility is great most of the time (save your files in Office format e.g. .doc), and totally free.
