Two good horror flicks

"Wind Chill" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486051/

Two college kids sharing a ride home for Christmas run off the road on "the scenic route." It turns out that this piece of road has seen MANY deaths and is haunted as all get-out. They have to try to stay alive through the night and not flip out or freeze. Creepiness ensues.

"Below" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0276816/

This is a maritime ghost story set on a US sub in WWII. The crew has guilty secrets and there's a vengeful ghost about. Creepiness ensues again; lots of corner-of-the-eye "did I just see that?" moments. Also uses the classic "run silent" and depth charge scenes that you have to have in any submarine movie.

It was obviously made by people who loved the old subs; the sets are gorgeously detailed and the exteriors were shot on the deck of an old sub they towed out into Lake Michigan. There's a couple of long takes traveling through the whole length of the boat that were either shot on one huge set or were seamlessly spliced together.

I'd call both of these "classic ghost stories." Not a lot of in your face CGI, not a lot of gore. Good spooky stuff.
The flesh is weak, and the smell of pussy is strong like a muthafucka.
