Killer whale doc "Blackfish"

Post by Shapecharge »

Just watched this. Uhh we all probably have the thought that keeping these magnificent creatures pinned up is not cool. This movie will bum you out.

Keeping animals in cages or tanks for human amusement seems very antiquated, but that documentary is about 90% propaganda.

Sea world financials are taking a huge hit. They just announced major overhaul to the orca pools.

Who told you that?

If you don't agree with a documentary, it's a standard line.

Sea World is a creepy place - sort of a like a casino owned by a beer company aiming for kids.

I've always, even when I was a kid, thought it was f-ed up to keep dolphins and other sea mammals in small tanks. I went to Sea World when I was teen (not by choice). I skipped the Shamu and dolphin shows.

I'll be thinking of Tilikum's sufferings today as I grill up burgers and dogs.

I hate zoo's for that very reason. Wild animals should be left wild, not put in prison cages for dimbulb humans to look at.
