Awesome meals from restaurants in whatever city

I went to the Venice Restaurant in the Denver Tech Center (they have one downtown too) and the food was really good...of course lots of restaurants have good food.

But I ordered from the daily special menu the wide egg noodles with boar shoulder/shank with root vegetables and other stuff, and it was extraordinarily good. Memorably good. Had some kind of funky spice that you don't normally associate with Italian restaurants. Everyone at the table was "WTF...that is awesome" when I gave them a taste.
