Cisco Soft Phone Issue

I just had a soft phone installed on my work laptop....this thing rocks at work, but I tried to load it here at the house and she won't come around.
Is it my wireless speed perhaps? The cookies thread loads fast enough on my home laptop and my work laptop seems fast.
Online wireless speed test:
Download 4.83Mbps
Upload 1.89Mbps
Ping 32MS
The above numbers mean nothing to me.
Already contacted one of the help desk dudes but it's after hours, so I was wondering if anyone who knows what they're talking about would think running out tonight and buying a new one would help. What I have is a Netwear WNR2000. Two laptops, two Kindles and my Droid all run off of it just fine anywhere in the house and in the front yard.
