My only experience with females doing infantry-type stuff was at Airborne School in '83. Nine women in the class, and one graduated. More gals got laid than graduated.
Probably today, the graduation rate would be much higher. But I think very few women would continue & make the infantry a career.

The Infantry Officer Course (IOC) wasn't created until after women were integrated with the men at the Basic Officer Course (BOC) at The Basic School (TBS). I don't understand why people want women to attend IOC.

At my first unit I developed shin splints that became a stress fracture in my left leg. It truly sucked balls.
