Today I had the pleasure to drive this monster. Simply amazing! If I had an extra 100K laying around....

That's rad. It trips me out that Nissan has cars like that. Not that the fine people of Japan could produce such a car, what with their automotive superiority, just that Nissan does.
I played poker with. Guy who sold Nissans who said his business held up fine through the recession. The one that's allegedly over.

The engines in each car are built by hand by 1 craftsman. He places his nameplate on the completed engine. Our dealership has 2 of these on order (sold to customers) and they are due to be delivered in 2015. Yet we cant give away a Murano or Maxima.
Subaru WRX and WRX-STI are also the hottest car going in a reasonable price.
edit: Subi performance car. Foresters are like gold.

I have fond Nissan memories from childhood but goddamn their lineup has gotten ugly. The 370Z is quite a porker.

It's not been the same since Nissan (and Infiniti) got bought by Renault a few years back.

If you are giving them away, I have a daughter that turned 16 a few months back....
Seriously, my sister's father in law just traded in his Lincoln for a Maxima, he likes it a lot, and I guess his mileage with the CVT is pretty good too.

I want a Mk7 VW GTI when they hit the US. It will come down to my willingness to roll the dice with VW reliability and German repair costs.

Funny. I'm five years into a a Jetta TDI Sportswagon. Great car. Great mileage. No problems at all. Only wish they were making the Passat TDI in the wagon so I have a little more room when I have passengers in the back.

Isn't the whole point of brands like Maserati that they aren't "entry level"? By owning one aren't you saying that you've "made it" not that you're "on your way"?

A Golf TDI would be my second choice to the GTI - I like hatchbacks for usefulness and I want the DSG transmission. Too much city driving and interstate traffic in the area to really want a true manual in an everyday car, no one else in that price range seems to have done the dual-clutch thing as well as VW.

Just get a Subaru Forester XT Premium and actually get a great vehicle.

Every CVT I've driven has been a miserable experience and paying 93 octane prices for 6mpg more on the highway seems pretty pointless.

I have battled off and on about getting this or an Outback. Just can't bite the bullet on getting a monthly car note when the Colorado is still running well and it's paid for. I have heard nothing but great things about the Forester and Outback.
