Sadly, the story says that the mosque will have to comply if the mayor asks them to handle the burial. It's still possible that French politicians will still screw this up.

French liberals will sue the mosque to force them to bury him. American liberals will cheer.

Seems like you should always bury them in a vat of pig blood.

IIRC, the Geneva Convention does not dictate burial procedures for terrorists. Or for citizen-traitors.

I don't think we should do things that would count as defiling a corpse by our own standards, but I'm very much in favor of cremation instead of the religious burial the terrorists would want.
