I recommend him wholeheartedly at whatever price but for a buck ninety nine or less? Get out.
He's a much better H P Lovecraft. Criminally underrated just like me.
I especially like his City of Singing Flame.

Have you read Wagner's Kane? Kind of Conan rip off but cool. Dude was a psychiatrist at UNC and bailed to write. Hung out with the dude who wrote the Silver John books: Manley Wade Wellmann

And I have read Kane, but it was so long ago...the paperback I had actually disintegrated....about 10 of my ERB paperbacks are gone too...bought at the garage sale when I was a kid, and HOLY SHIT

David Drake's Silver John inspired "Old Nathan" is free on Kindle.
