cost/benefit?

fox news reports:

dead: 85 isis guys in libya

ordnance: 108 precision-guided bombs, plus assorted hellfire missiles

delivery: 2 (i think) stealth b-52s flying from missouri, refueled 5 times, plus drone(s)

how much do you figure the point was to kill 85 guys and how much to show somebody, somewhere what we can do and are prepared to do?

truly curious.

Isis's plan is to simply bankrupt the world killing them. At about a bazillion dollars a head - it will probably work. We're way too stupid to catch on to their plot.

Yeah, like climber said, the world knows we burn cash to kill foreigners. Almost like we have bloodthirsty maniacal people in charge.

Drones are cheap hanging out over Libya.

For the bombers, nice training run.

Not sure why they'd use a stealth platform. A big concern (related to why were fiddling around in Benghazi) is the anti-aircraft weaponry the bad guys were getting their hands on. But I don't know...

The Eternal GWOT is not a fight for fiscal conservatives.

that's what fox news reported:
A pair of B-2 "stealth" bombers blasted two ISIS training camps in Libya on Wednesday evening,
are they part of the fake news team now, too?

Back on track, and serious question here, do ISIS and affiliated groups in Africa even have the hardware necessary to detect and counter either B-52s or stealth bombers?

Maybe detection, just through monitoring air bases in Europe and traffic control. Do something about it? Maybe hide in a hole or leave town.
