My boys got this for Christmas, and I was reserving judgement. But after watching them for the last month and playing a few times myself, I gotta admit it kicks ass.
It's essentially the old game "Simon" in running-your-ass-off format. You set up the colored pods at whatever spacing you want, inside or out, and then pick a game and level. The wand you hold tells you what pods to strike, and in what order.
You run like a madman from pod to pod. Like Simon, the pattern builds over time, adding colors in a random sequence. So as it gets more complex you're getting more and more hyper and trying to process the information as you get tired.
When you finally fuck up it tells you how high you got, and your time. There are other games and of course multiple-player formats.
Honestly, I'm surprised the Xfit guys haven't got into this. You could make it brutal. Much coolness for $20.
