Dragon Wars: HOLY SHIT!

I won't try to claim that this movie is good. It isn't. Characters are minimal, acting is atrocious, plot is goofy bordering on incomprehensible.
BUT-
for one scene alone, this is worth a Netflix. There's a massive battle in downtown L.A. between the US military and a medieval magic/dragon army. Imagine the battle spectacle of "Transformers" mixed with "Return of the King." Gunships engaging flying dragons, chopping them apart with their cannons, colliding with them in midair, smashing into skyscrapers, while tanks below open up on giant lumbering dragon-dinosaurs (which are carrying rocket launchers themselves, BTW). SHIT BLOWS UP. I watched this part three times in a row.
Unlike the crap remainder of the film, the action is well edited, fast-paced, and seamlessly done. I actually regret not seeing this on the big screen, although it's possible I would have walked out before the good part. The rest is really that bad.
