Seconded. A few of us bought pairs of these for about $40 when on a trip in D.C. last year, and they are great. They look kind of cheaply made (the nylon sides) but I wear mine to workout in a lot (hitting the bag, cals, etc.), so do the other guys, and they are all still going strong. A great 'floor work' shoe.

I picked up a pair of old New Balance 790s, which are a minimalist trail shoe. They guarantee that I will be suffering from a flare up of plantar fascitis after I wear them, no matter what I do in them.
