New Netflix series about Marco Polos time in Kublai Kahn's Mongol horde. I'm binge watching as I recover from disc surgery. It's OK after 5 episodes, I wasn't expecting much.

Lots of azn titties and bloody fight scenes.

Is this another 'Spartacus' or 'DaVinci' show? Lots of nudes, almost no historical accuracy, bloody fight scenes...

Probably, i'm ignorant of the actual history here. But who gives a fuck, it's Netflix not History Channel. Please don't Lenny this thread up.

I believe it's been argued that Marco Polo never actually went to China so historical accuracy isn't important to me but titties are.

I really tried giving the show a try. Apart from the historical inaccuracies (in which there are a lot) the things that I found annoying are:

Instead of being a witness to events, Marco Polo is the central character or involved in almost everything.
The brooding and the "going to break into tears" look the Marco Polo actor has on his face all of the time.
How the Marco Polo character is kind of a white magic negro for the Mongols.
How they pussed out on the nude scenes. It's like they only included them because Game of Thrones and the rest of this type of genre does it. Go big or go home.
