Great movie. Stallone is awesome. If you dont like this movie you hate Amurikuh and the terrorists win.

Fucking awesome. If you like the original Rocky, you'll love it.

I haven't seen it nor do I plan to.

I don't need more inspirational messages this holiday season.

They could have thrown it a bone and nominated him. Definitely best actor nomination worthy.

Great movie, Stallone was funny and his character arc was cool to see - definitely didn't expect that.

Worth seeing in the theater.

I mean, thrown it a bone? that's not the same as "Definitely best actor nomination worthy" and not really the way you approach a young, rising star right? You wanna throw someone a bone you wait until they're over the hill and give them a supporting actor bid like they did for Sly.

Seems like a must-see from you guys though, I'll have to check it out. The physical transformation of that kid is pretty spectacular.

Idris Elba in Beasts was best actor worthy; Jordan's performance wasn't in that league.

Yeah, Stallone definitely deserved the nod. The kid? He was good, but not great.

Jordan was good, but I'm not sure he makes the top ten list of Rocky supporting characters.

I am watching BoNN the other night, meh. Big fan of Idris Elba but I don't think that part warranted a best actor because it just didn't ask that much of him, not his fault. It just seemed like a one-dimensional character. Not to mention, he wasn't the protagonist. I could understand a look for best supporting, maybe, but I haven't seen the other movies. I thought the main character did a really good job but the (assumed) internal struggles he was going through never really came to light.

I am certain neither performance was good enough to warrant boycott on the basis of racism.
