K2 body bag

Loaded with somewhere between 120 and 140 lbs of pea gravel.
Absolutely solid product. I've tossed it, dropped it, abused it. It won't break. The construction is very solid.
K2 continues to be quick with their deliveries and provide a quality product.
Only thing, I wish the bag said "body bag" on it somewhere.

Get some stencils and spray paint from your local hardware store.

Hey Doc,
Glad you like the product.
They will soon.. We're changing production around a bit and it's been too cost prohibitive in the past to have the wording screen-printed

Why didn't you just steal one from the Hospital, doc?

Doc or Mike,
Does your body bag leak any sand at all?

Oh man, I forgot you had pea gravel in yours. Mine has sand and it leaks out a little when I'm moving it around especially when it moves to an on end position.
BTW, Do you know Dr. Bruce Friedman at U of M in Ann Arbor?
Thanks,
Jim

Don't know him personally. know he's in path.
I'm not at UM anymore though.
If I had sand in my bag, I might use a liner...

HawkSC, as Doc suggested, use a liner, especially when using sand. That recommendation is in the document you should have been re-directed to after purchase.

Thanks,

Hey there jarhead,
Thanks for the document. Damn, I wish that I'd have seen this sooner, especially since I already have some chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. And as a pathologist, I should have thought about the silicosis.
Oh well, I have a week of down time and I guess that I need to get to work on this. So which of the methods did you guys use? The one or two liners or the sandwich baggies one?
Thanks again for the help, gentlemen.
Jim

It's best to go with what is in the sheet that was e-mailed to you. That would be locking sandwich bags placed in a larger freezer bag, allowing for an adjustable weight system. Place two heavy duty liners in the bag, then the baggies. Don't forget the duct tape on the baggies.
I'm not an expert. I just got my bag earlier this week.

mine broke the first time i worked out with it. i dropped it from my shoulder to the ground and it exploded. catastrophic structural failure. looking forward to them sending me a replacement though, as i like the design.

Can you people add to your reviews after a couple years of use?

Used one loaded with about 150# of pea gravel a lot last spring/summer. It held up to all the abuse I put it through.
