Speaking from the knowledge and perspective of one who was ACTUALLY THERE when the photo was taken, it is quite clear, and very unfortunate, that the context of, and the manner in which, the photo was taken has been severely misunderstood and grossly scrutinized.

The fact that such harsh judgements and blatant character assassinations have been made without knowledge of the true facts of the captured moment is quite lamentable.
Typical @fit: The critics are WRONG! You just DON'T UNDERSTAND!

I know you think it's stoic and noble to buck consensus and front as a rugged individual, but cases like this the consensus is something you really ought to pay heed to.
How the fuck can you like her? She is a holier than thou hypocrite. She acts like she ignores the comments and you know goddamn well she is all over this page like her face in a fresh piece of poon.

Stop kissing her old ass and say it like it is.

How can anyone in this thread like her? She epitomizes the cult mentality of @fit to the T. Her blog posts, her passive aggressive tone when addressing her critics and much more.

Isn't it obvious? She's had to have sent the Gorilla some NSFW pics in addition to pics of her doing work without showing her face. Come on WGM, you know I'm right.

Lis, you ARE a laughable hag, and I suspect that you, like other certain moderators and admins on CF.com forums, are acting out of sexual frustration and, in the words of a certain gentleman upon whom character assassination was attempted upon, could 'use a good hard fuck'

Between her, BMack, Couch, Pudding and Asstro you have quite a fucked up fitness empire.

Did they ever stop and wonder why they are looked at by legitimate fitness professionals and laughed at? I mean there are some truly impressive people coming from @fit but they are few and far between and the idiocy coming from the leaders in charge is enough to make babies want to jump off of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Psychologist Michael Langone, executive director of the International Cultic Studies Association, defines a destructive cult as "a highly manipulative group which exploits and sometimes physically and/or psychologically damages members and recruits."
In a statement which Congressman Leo J. Ryan later read into the Congressional Record, Dr. John Gordon Clark cited totalitarian systems of governance and an emphasis on money making as characteristics of a destructive cult

WildGorillaMan wrote:Interestingly, both "Yeah but how far can he throw a softball?" and equating BMack with DNF have entered the popular mainstream @fit lexicon. Thanks to the couch thread I'm seeing rank and file @fitters making jokes about both.

In other news, one of my Team Gorilla fans has a question for the group:

WGM,
Couch is coming down to Savannah to speak to a group on the military base down here this Thursday. Any pressing questions you think I should ask? I might challenge him to a softball throw out in the parking lot. Shirtless of course. If his "speech" gets interesting I will plan to record it
He would like to know if IGx has any questions they'd like him to ask Couch.

Perhaps we should all repost that picture on our web-logs (yeah, I know we all have one, we're all narcissists) with the caption "Reebok hates children". I don't know how SEO works, but that would probably mess with google's results a bit for a while.

Um, I actually do know quite a bit about SEO. There may be some ways to make that happen. With the release of Google Instant a while back, you can get some pretty funny pre-search suggestions. Similar to the auto-fill that G does.

flooding search results with a bunch of "Reebok Hates Children" may not end up as funny as you'd think. Big corporations get pretty pissed about that stuff.

If she's in charge of the blog/social media, it would not be reasonable for Reebok to ask HQ to hold the sword still so she can throw herself on it.
